Greetings to each of you. With my last post, True Rest III, I marked what will probably be my last post for a few weeks.
I am currently sitting in my dorm room in Pittsburgh, PA at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and I am getting ready to begin a new round of intensive courses for my Doctor of Ministry studies in Science and Theology. Pray for me, especially that God would help me keep my sanity!
When I get back to New Jersey on the 22nd, I will then immediately begin packing for my move to Bristol, TN. God has been gracious to me and my family and opened up an opportunity for me to serve as the next Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at the First Presbyterian Church of Bristol. I am very excited about this new opportunity, and I covet your prayers in the coming days and months.
I also ask your prayers for my current congregations, the First Presbyterian Church of Maywood and Moonachie, and the United Presbyterian Church of Lyndhurst. These are lovely churches filled with kind and wonderful people. It is hard to say goodbye, but as they understand, things change and God calls us all to different paths from time to time. Please pray for them that God would bless them and help them become even more fruitful in their work for God’s kingdom.
